A telecom company based in the UAE approached Edale to help them with a high specification print and personalisation line to help them produce high volumes of telecom recharge cards whilst adhering to the strict guidelines in terms of security, as well as print quality.
Solution
After working together for over a year researching, developing and testing, Edale and the unnamed customer developed the 430mm wide 14 colour scratch card line which sees productivity and flexibility achieved by combining ‘traditional’ multi stage manufacturing processes into a single pass.
Benefit
Boasting 14 UV flexo heads, eight thermal inkjet systems, PIN number and scratch off verification systems, screen unit and two die stations the 30m long fully customised machine now sees the company produce over 1.5m pins per hour – over exceeding their customers expectations resulting in increase in business and customer spend.
