Geo Labels increases production efficiency and operator capability with Edale FL3 flexo press
Geo Labels, Inc., a label converter based in Ontario, California, strengthened its production capability and operational efficiency following its investment in an Edale FL3 flexographic press (now referred to as the LabelLine FL4p).

The solution
Geo Labels invested in the Edale FL3, a 350mm flexographic press designed for high-quality production with minimal waste and simplified operation.
- Key capabilities include servo-driven architecture, UNiPRINT print technology, automated registration systems, and modular upgrade capability.
- The system also supports UV, water, and UV LED curing, with LED offering reduced energy use and lower maintenance requirements.
- The FL3 was selected for its combination of automation, usability, and flexibility.

Since installation, Geo Labels has seen significant operational improvements:
- Faster operator onboarding, with new users able to run jobs independently within approximately two weeks
- Improved setup efficiency and reduced production complexity
- Lower waste through improved control systems
- Greater consistency across repeat jobs and varied substrates
- Expanded capability, including reliable production on pre-perforated materials
The press has also improved business agility, enabling Geo Labels to accept a wider range of work and reduce production constraints.
