Here are some common Frequently Asked Questions about our apprenticeships
Apprenticeships are work-based training programmes that are designed to help employers train people for specific job roles. At the same time, apprentices get a paying job with valuable training while they work towards a nationally recognised apprenticeship standard or framework (devolved nations).
Anyone in England aged 16 years old and above, whether employed, unemployed or leaving school. There is no upper age limit. There are no formal qualifications needed to do an apprenticeship however GCSEs (level 4+) in English, maths and science.
Apprentices will earn at least the statutory apprentice wage plus 10% and earning potential not limited by age. Apprentices can increase their pay by passing through Edale’s tiered achievement levels meaning that the high achievers will increase pay more quickly. Contact us for more details.
All apprentices are employed, and have a contract of employment. You are counted as a regular employee so get all the benefits such as holiday leave as well.
It is a four year plan to complete the apprenticeship.
