Reelvision Invest in their third Edale single-pass Flexo Carton Printing Machine
British manufacturers and engineering company Edale Limited are worldwide leading designers of flexographic printing presses.
Edale is proud to announce that Reelvision, manufacturers of Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Personal Care and FMCG cartons have invested in an FL5, single-pass flexo carton printing machine, comprising of 8 colours, 540mm width and an FDC 600 web-fed flatbed die-cutter to join their existing Edale machinery.
We have a long-standing relationship with Reelvision that started back in 2007 when collaboratively we set about developing a new generation of single-pass flexographic print and flatbed die cutting technology specifically for the production of cartons, at that time called the Edale Gamma. The Gamma evolved to become the FL5 but retains the mantra of being designed with carton printers for carton printers. We are delighted that Reelvision has made this commitment to invest in our very latest FL5 single pass carton technology.
Managing Director Edale, James Boughton comments: “Our partnership with Reelvision is greater than any usual customer-supplier relationship, not only is it long-standing but both companies have really benefited from our collaborative approach.
We look forward to continuing in this vein, and our in-house team of engineers will enjoy designing and customising their new press to fit their brief perfectly.”
Managing Director, Gareth Bakewell, Reelvision comments: “Our investment in the FL5 carton press will be a great addition to our existing Edale machinery. We have worked with Edale on a number of specialist projects now, and our priority is to ensure that as we continue to grow, we stay ahead of the curve through our continued investment in the very latest new future-proofed technology to ensure we bring our customers the best possible packaging solutions.”
