EZ FOIL is an advanced cold foil system that enables cold foil to be reused multiple times, resulting in significant production cost savings.
A servo foil in-setting controller enables the roll of foil to be processed multiple times, with each pass utilising a part of the foil that was not imaged during a previous pass. An adjustable side lay also allows the lateral position to be adjusted to maximise the use of the foil further. Reusing the foil can result in a significant return on investment with up to a four-fold reduction in material costs.
As an added benefit EZ FOIL can also be used for registered lamination of pre-printed label stock for the production of multi-layer labels.
