UV Lamination Machine
UV lamination Machine
This involves coating one material with a UV curable adhesive.
The 2nd material is then nipped to the adhesive and a UV lamp is then used to cure the adhesive. Once the adhesive is cured the two materials are bonded together.
Because this requires UV to cure on the substrates it needs to be non opaque.
Lamination
Laminates are a protective film applied to the surface of your substrate material after it has been printed. In addition to shielding your substrate from damage it can also be used for protection against ink migration in food applications. Laminates materials come in many varieties to help you achieve a certain look for your packaging, such as: Gloss. Semigloss. Matte.
Lamination can be achieved in a number of ways but usually include the use of two materials which are bonded together.
