By using the cold foil unit, on the rail, the cast and cure process allows for holographic effects to be added to the substrate. A varnish is printed on the substrate and then a micro embossed film is nipped into the varnish and then peeled away and rewound. This leaves a pattern on the varnish which once cured gives a holographic effect. The rewound embossed film can also be reused a number of times.
