EDALE APPOINTS UK SALES MANAGER TO BOLSTER ITS GROWTH STRATEGY IN THE UK MARKET
Edale are delighted to announce the appointment of Luke Harris as UK Sales Manager.
British Manufacturer Edale, engineers of world-class printing and converting solutions for the packaging industry are delighted to announce the appointment of Luke Harris as UK Sales Manager. Luke, previously from Fujifilm, will be visiting UK customers and join forces with office-based Business Development Manager, Louise Bailey, to support Edale’s growing presence in the UK market.
As the UK and other countries are taking steps to adopt sustainable printing processes and reduce plastic waste in the packaging industry, we are all taking an important step towards a more sustainable future.
Luke’s appointment with Edale aligns perfectly with our commitment to have greater reach and more engagement with our customers to provide machines that use technologies which provide more sustainable print options.
Luke Harris, Sales Manager, Edale comments: “After operating in the commercial market for the best part of three and a half years at Fujifilm, the challenge of moving into the labels and packaging industry really excited me.
When the opportunity to work for Edale presented itself, it was an opportunity I couldn’t refuse; who wouldn’t want to work for a British manufacturer that prides itself on the high quality of its presses, has a great reputation and operates globally in the growth market of the printing industry.”
Luke continues: “I look forward to meeting customers in-person, as well as virtually and at our UK headquarters over the coming months. I’m keen to learn more about their business and to discuss Edale’s technology and range of presses.”
Darren Pickford, Sales Director, Edale, comments: “I am delighted to welcome Luke to the Team. Whilst we already have a strong presence in the UK market, our strategy is to continually strive to improve and expand our reach. With Luke onboard, we can engage with more customers in the UK and better serve the future of our customers in the flexible packaging industry.
The market is not without its challenges, including supply chain issues, rising costs and new legislation around plastic tax. Nevertheless, Luke and the sales team are eager to provide support and printing solutions to help our customers through these challenges.”
Darren Pickford continues: “Our doors are always open to visitors both in person or virtually, and we are proud of our technology, the customisation and quality engineering we offer. We build presses to last a lifetime of use. I am confident that Luke will be a fantastic ambassador for Edale.”
