2017 ging die Demax Group, eine führende Sicherheitsdruckerei in Bulgarien, die sich auf Digitaldruck, Plastikkarten, Etiketten, flexible Verpackungen, Holografie und Sicherheitsdruck spezialisiert hat, eine Partnerschaft mit Edale ein, um eine bahnbrechende FL5 Single-Pass-Rubbelkartenlinie zu entwickeln, die erste ihrer Art in Europa.
Edale, Ingenieure von Weltklasse Druck- und Verarbeitungslösungen für die Verpackungsindustrie waren begeistert, mit Demax an diesem besonderen Projekt zusammenzuarbeiten und eine maßgeschneiderte Lösung für ihre Anforderungen zu entwickeln.
Ivan Nestorov, Technischer Direktor bei Demax, kommentiert: “Our decision to collaborate with Edale in 2017 was driven by our need for a lottery scratch card line tailored to our exact requirements. The solution provided by Edale was designed, customised and manufactured with cutting edge technology, offering a complete solution that met our needs. This investment proved instrumental in transforming and innovating our lottery card operation which led to a significant increase in scratch card production and enabled us to expand our capabilities beyond Bulgaria.
We were so impressed by the precision engineering and registration capability of the FL5 card line, we decided to invest in a second FL5 Flexographic Printing Machine for Lottery Card Production in 2020. Our investment in our second press fully supported our ongoing growth expansion efforts.”
erklärte Iwan: “Our second press comprised of a 17-colour, FL5 card line, custom built specifically for printing sophisticated lottery scratch cards. It’s equipped with advanced features such as the Edale AiiR print automation system, extended hot air-drying technology as well as EZ reg camera register control, inspection capabilities and integration of variable data printing on both sides of the web. This solution has an impressive 140 driven motor axes.
Our second press has doubled our output, resulting in a significant increase in workload. As a result, we have hired new employees and are currently operating at full capacity.”
