The FL7 is a mid-web carton printing and converting machine combining Edale’s unique in-line flexo platform with a wide range of carton finishing options. The FL7 is available in both 760mm | 30” and 850mm | 33.5” web widths and can be specified for water, solvent and UV inks. The FL7 flexographic print modules are fully servo controlled with direct drive sleeve print cylinders and   anilox rolls  a maximum print format of 914.4mm | 36”.

The FL7 is Edale’s most productive carton solution and can deliver web speeds of 300m/min | 990 ft/min subject to application. Print productivity is supported by Edale’s AiiR camera based autonomous registration control.

The FL7 is fully modular in design and can be configured with either Edale’s 1800mm | 70” jumbo unwind/rewinds or integrated with a third-party continuous butt splicer. Post print the FL7 can be specified with heavy duty rotary die cutting stations for cut, crease and stripping or with Edale’s variable length sheet cutter. Solutions for stripping, de-nesting and automatic stacking are also available dependent on customer requirements or application
