VICKY HOBBS

Hi!

I’m Vicky Hobbs – part of the Marketing Team here at Edale. My role is to research and update our global contact base to be able to promote all aspects of the company. I am new; only having joined at the end of August 2021, so I’m still finding my feet. The team have been very welcoming and helpful whilst I get to understand these innovative machines.

Having worked in varied roles throughout the years, I decided to settle down into marketing; which I find extremely rewarding.

I previously worked in the Travel Retail sector as an Account Manager, which I was fortunate enough to be able to travel abroad to on-board suppliers and customers. Most recently, I worked for a local company with my day-to-day role including sales of machinery, supervising a team of engineers, advertising & marketing, purchasing, account management and assisting the MD – no need to ask if I can multi-task!

A bit about me – I lived, worked and studied in Tuscany, Italy for a few years, so I speak Italian. I love holidaying abroad to explore new places. I am frequently up the stables at weekends when I am not cleaning, planning my next holiday or baking. I love a challenge and have self-taught myself various skills from Excel to riding a geared motorcycle!
